Energy Drinks cause dehydration

Have you ever felt thirsty after drinking an energy drink?

Energy drinks cause dehyration and increase acidity in the body. The key ingredient in energy drinks is caffeine - sometimes listed as yerba mate or guarana.

If you want to re-hydrate - you'll need to drink TWO cups of water for every cup of energy drink you consume.

In Dec of '09 we switched to drinking alkaline water. It actually tastes better than bottled water with no "oily" taste that comes from chemicals leaching out of the plastic water bottles.

The system we use is also listed in the PDR (Physician's Desk Reference) manual and can be found at http://www.lifeionizer.com/lifegivingwater

You can also download a free E-Book at the site about the benefits of alkaline water.
